AVIO Immigration is a solo Canadian immigration law practice based in Toronto, with a registered address in North York. Founder Andra Dumitrescu was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and holds a Master of Laws in Tax Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto's Trinity College. Dumitrescu practices in English and Romanian. The firm meets clients by phone and video rather than in person, so it works with individuals, families and businesses across Canada rather than only in the Toronto area.

The practice covers most points in the immigration system: temporary residence matters such as study permits, post graduate work permits, visitor visas and work permits for intra company transferees and entrepreneurs; permanent residence routes including spousal and family sponsorship, Express Entry and the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program; and remedies for refused or delayed files, including judicial review, mandamus applications and reconsideration requests. The firm also publishes a weekly digest, the Canadian Immigration Weekly Digest, tracking case law, policy and program changes in Canadian immigration law, with issues on its website dating back to September 2023, and Dumitrescu has written on immigration topics for Law360 Canada, contributed commentary to The Globe and Mail, and spoken at events for the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
