About Molu Law

Molu Law is a litigation firm at 20 Bay Street in Toronto's South Core financial district, founded by lawyer Sienna Molu. Before starting an independent practice, Molu spent seven years practising at downtown Toronto firms, appearing before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, arguing motions, and conducting arbitrations before various tribunals. The practice today concentrates on commercial litigation, professional liability defence, construction law, condominium litigation, insurance coverage disputes, real property litigation, and product liability claims for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

Molu's legal writing has reached beyond the firm's own client base. A chapter on the civil law response to sexual misconduct and the non-consensual sharing of intimate images appeared in the Annual Review of Civil Litigation 2018, a Thomson Reuters volume. Molu was called to the bar in Ontario in 2018, after completing the National Committee on Accreditation process in 2017 and earning a law degree from BPP Law School in London, England, between 2013 and 2016.

The neighbourhood

Molu Law's office is in WaterPark Place at 20 Bay Street, on Toronto's waterfront, steps from Union Station and facing the harbour and Lake Ontario. The building sits in the same downtown core where the firm's founder spent seven years practising before opening an independent office. For a practice defending developers, contractors, insurers, and condominium corporations, a downtown Bay Street address puts the firm close to the businesses, construction projects, and buildings that generate this kind of dispute, not just to a single courthouse.
