Livelihood Legal is a solo employment law practice in Toronto, run by its founder, Aba Stevens, who holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and is licensed to practice law in both Ontario and New York State. The firm takes on terminations, constructive dismissal, employment contract review, and workplace human rights matters, describing itself as an advocate for a client's livelihood. It takes cases only in Ontario, though many matters are handled remotely, so its reach extends well beyond its Toronto office.

Before opening the practice, Stevens worked at a large Canadian law firm, at a major bank, and in government, and has made contributions to non-profit and charitable organizations. Stevens has also taught Legal Ethics at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. The firm frames its approach around three words, commitment, intelligence, and empathy, and says that on questions of justice and equality, neutrality isn't an option. It also emphasizes using technology to keep its services efficient and cost effective for clients going through a difficult stretch at work.
