The Law Office of John S. Contini is a solo litigation practice in Toronto focused on complex corporate commercial and real property disputes. John Contini has more than twenty years' experience in business litigation and has appeared at every level of Ontario's courts as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. The practice also handles alternative dispute resolution, including complex arbitrations and mediations. Contini was previously seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission as Counsel in its Enforcement Branch, and the firm still takes on securities litigation, shareholder disputes, and oppression remedy and fiduciary claims.

A large share of the practice involves real property. Contini is regularly retained by commercial landlords, property managers, and other corporate clients in disputes over real property, including commercial lease and environmental litigation, and has acted in a number of complex restructurings, including bankruptcy and Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act proceedings. Contini is also retained by manufacturers and insurers in product liability and property claims, and has written on landlord remedies for the Law Society of Upper Canada's continuing education program and O'Brien's Encyclopedia of Forms. Contini also spoke at the International Council of Shopping Centers' Canadian Shopping Centre Law Conference several times between 2008 and 2012.
