About Lattal Law

Lattal Law is a solo conflict resolution practice in Toronto, founded in 2017 by lawyer Ashley Lattal. Rather than traditional litigation, the firm focuses on workplace investigations, culture assessments, mediation, and training. Ashley Lattal built the practice after years as a commercial litigator, first with a national law firm in Washington, D.C., then a national law firm in Toronto, and later a Toronto litigation firm.

Ashley Lattal earned a JD from Cornell Law School in 2000 and an LLM in alternative dispute resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University) in 2014, and holds bar admissions in New York (2001), Washington, D.C. (2002), and Ontario (2003). The firm investigates complaints of harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, and other policy violations for clients across industries including manufacturing, health care, education, construction, finance, entertainment, and municipalities, and Ashley Lattal serves as a roster mediator with the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program.

The neighbourhood

Lattal Law's office is in First Canadian Place at 100 King Street West, in the heart of Toronto's financial district. Completed in 1975, First Canadian Place was Canada's tallest building for decades and connects to the PATH, the underground walkway that links most of the towers, banks, and services in the downtown core. That address suits a practice built around corporate and institutional clients: human resources departments and in-house counsel from major employers can meet Ashley Lattal without leaving the financial district.
