L.A. Liversidge is a Toronto law firm that works only in Ontario's workplace safety and insurance system. Founder Les Liversidge, LL.B., has more than 40 years of experience in all facets of that system, acting for both workers and employers. The firm sums up its own approach this way: its practice scope is narrow, but its service commitment is unlimited. The office has employed the same paralegal, Kim Verrall, since 1989, and Jennifer Miller joined in early 2007, giving the practice a long-serving staff for a one-lawyer firm.

The work covers WSIB claims management, WSIB and Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT) appeals, employer audits, business classification disputes, and section 31 applications to WSIAT. Clients come from industries such as construction, manufacturing, transportation, retail, and mining, along with employer trade associations and municipal governments. Liversidge has served on WSIB advisory committees since they were established in 2010 and has appeared before legislative standing committees on workers' compensation reform. Liversidge also co-authored, with Douglas G. Gilbert, the third edition of Workers' Compensation in Ontario: A Guide to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, a copy of which is held in the University of Toronto Libraries collection.
