Keenberg & Co is a small commercial litigation and arbitration firm in downtown Toronto, founded in 2023. It works with business owners, directors, and companies on disputes such as shareholder disagreements, breach of contract, supply chain claims, professional negligence claims against lawyers and financial advisors, and fraud or fiduciary breach allegations. The firm also acts on property disputes, including neighbour disputes, trespass, and easements, and represents both employees and employers in employment claims. Cases can end in settlement, a court order, or an arbitration award, and the firm's lawyers also sit as arbitrators and mediators in disputes between other parties.
Founder Megan Keenberg was called to the Ontario bar in 2007, starting in the litigation group of a large national firm before moving to a Bay Street litigation firm and later co-founding another commercial litigation and employment firm ahead of starting Keenberg & Co. Fellow lawyer Rhea Mathew qualified as a lawyer in India in 2013 and in Ontario in 2022, working as a corporate and litigation lawyer in India, including an internship at the Supreme Court of India, before joining the firm as commercial litigation and arbitration counsel. The two lawyers are supported by an office manager and licensed paralegal, and by a Chief Happiness Officer added to the team in 2024.

Keenberg & Co's office is at 3 Church Street, a building constructed in 1914 with alternating red brick and stone banding in the Edwardian Classical style. The building is designated under the Ontario Heritage Act and sits within the St. Lawrence Neighbourhood Heritage Conservation District, an area shaped by Toronto's 19th century waterfront and rail trade.
That puts the firm a short walk from St. Lawrence Market, in a stretch of downtown Toronto that grew up around 19th century warehouses and wholesale trading houses, a fitting setting for a firm built around resolving disputes between businesses.
Law clerks, paralegals and articling students at this firm. They are not licensed lawyers.
