About Kahntemplate

Kahntemplate is a small Toronto business law practice built around founder Stephen Kahn, who advises early stage and small cap companies on the legal groundwork of building and funding a business. The firm's office is at 120 Eglinton Avenue East, in the city's midtown Yonge and Eglinton area. Its day to day practice covers contract negotiation and drafting, choosing and setting up a corporate structure, and developing or refining a business plan, along with helping a company raise money through exempt market financing and handling commercial leasing work for both landlords and tenants.

Kahn graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1996 and was called to the bar in 1998. Alongside the corporate advisory work, Kahntemplate offers a private dispute adjudication process as an alternative to going to court: once a file is opened, the process moves through fixed stages for initial submissions, responses, and a settlement offer, aiming for a final and binding decision within 30 days.
