Justin T. Chan Professional Corporation is a solo litigation and business law practice run out of an office on Bay Street in downtown Toronto's Financial District. Justin T. Chan holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from Cardiff Law School in Wales and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2013. Before opening the firm, Chan worked as General Counsel of a Bay Street investment industry firm, gaining familiarity with Ontario Securities Commission proceedings, and spent time at Ernst & Young leading a research project on corporate actions.

The firm splits its work in two directions: helping businesses avoid disputes through part-time general counsel services, and representing them once a dispute turns into litigation. Chan handles commercial, civil, and condominium litigation, has offered debt collection services since 2012, and in 2018 successfully defended a motion for summary judgment in a corporate veil piercing case, reported as 2018 ONSC 5827. Chan also tutors foreign trained lawyers preparing for the National Committee on Accreditation's exams, having passed all seven required NCA challenge exams before teaching other candidates the exam-taking strategy behind them.
