Jerome H. Stanleigh, Barrister & Solicitor is a sole-practitioner law office in Toronto, run by Jerome H. Stanleigh, whose legal career spans more than four decades in three jurisdictions. Stanleigh began practicing in British Columbia, with a criminal law practice and an active real estate and mortgage financing practice, then spent eight years practicing in Israel, where Stanleigh was called to the Israeli Bar in 1979 and worked mainly with start up technology companies on corporate financing. The Ontario practice that followed settled into a general civil litigation base, weighted mostly toward corporate and commercial disputes, with a smaller family law caseload.

The firm's civil litigation work today covers shareholder disputes, director liability, breach of contract, professional liability, and some personal injury matters, alongside general counsel work for medium sized corporations: incorporations, land title transfers, mortgage financing, corporate structuring, shareholder agreements, and lease agreements. Stanleigh also keeps a criminal law caseload, most often domestic assault and theft under charges, and holds a B.A. from St. Mary's University and the University of Western Ontario and an LLB from the University of British Columbia. Stanleigh is also the author of a book, The Dance of the Bumblebee.
