About J. Bianchi Law

J. Bianchi Law is a full-service law firm in Toronto that provides general counsel to individuals, families and businesses. Founder John Bianchi established the practice after working at other Toronto law firms and gaining experience across real estate, insurance, wills and estates, personal injury, product liability and corporate litigation. That mix of prior work informed the decision to open an independent practice built around a single point of contact for clients rather than a narrow specialty.

The firm brings more than 15 years of legal experience to matters spanning business and corporate work, family office services, residential and commercial real estate, wills and estates, labour law, and litigation. Of the practice's approach, Bianchi has said: "Client relationships are the bedrock of both my professional experience and objectives working as general counsel." The firm operates out of a King Street East office in downtown Toronto and works directly with clients by email and consultation.

The neighbourhood

The firm's office at 340 King Street East sits inside a building known as King Parliament Square, in Toronto's Corktown district. The property combines two commercial structures built in 1897 and 1911. A restoration project kept the original brick walls, restored the cornice, and preserved interior details like the maple flooring and metal doors, turning what a heritage review called an older industrial and commercial building into contemporary office space. That restoration won a 2008 Heritage Toronto award for the adaptive reuse.
