INNOV-8 is a Toronto law firm paired with an affiliated technology company, built around a team of lawyers, technologists and data management specialists. The firm describes itself as a law firm supported by an affiliated tech company, a structure it uses to combine legal judgment with data management tools. Founder and CEO Marlon Hylton was previously a partner at a major Bay Street law firm, building its e-discovery and information governance services there before founding INNOV-8.

The firm's work centers on e-discovery for litigation and investigations, managed document review, FOI and ATIP response for public sector clients, cyber security data breach response, commercial contract review, and document review for competition law and regulatory matters. In February 2022, INNOV-8 announced a partnership bringing Canopy's AI-powered data breach response software to Canada, extending its cyber security offering. The firm's work was also featured in the Fall 2021 issue of Advocacy Matters, a publication of the Advocates' Society, as an example of lawyers using technology to manage data in litigation and investigations. Hylton, an adjunct faculty member at Osgoode Hall Law School, has been recognized by Best Lawyers and Who's Who Legal and received the school's Alumni Gold Key Award in 2018.
