Hines Legal Professional Corporation is a family law and wills and estates firm working from a single office on the fourth floor of 80 Atlantic Avenue in Toronto's Liberty Village. Founding partner Allison Hines was called to the bar in both Ontario and Nova Scotia in 2014, after earning a Juris Doctor and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Dalhousie University and an undergraduate degree from Cape Breton University. Hines is a certified family law mediator and also teaches law at Toronto Metropolitan University and in the Law Practice Program.
The team includes associate Chelsea A. Murphy, who earned a law degree at the University of Leeds and has argued family law matters before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal, and associate Jasleen Kaur, a dual JD graduate of the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy who came to family law after earlier work in criminal defence and immigration and speaks English, Hindi, and Punjabi. Paralegal Asha Walker became a licensed Family Legal Services Provider in 2024, graduating with honours from the Law Society of Ontario's program. Between them the firm handles family litigation, mediation, domestic contracts, wills, and probate, and it accepts Legal Aid certificates for family law matters.

Hines Legal's office is on the fourth floor of 80 Atlantic Avenue, a mass timber office building that UrbanToronto describes as Toronto's first new timber frame commercial building to be built in a generation, standing in the heart of Liberty Village. Liberty Village grew out of a stretch of Victorian era factories west of downtown Toronto and has since become a mixed office, retail, and residential neighbourhood, giving family law and estates clients a modern, easy to find address a short trip from the downtown courts rather than a traditional law firm block.
