About GME Law

GME Law is a small Toronto firm built around a narrow combination of practice areas: gambling, media, and entertainment law. It's led by founder Jack Tadman, whose practice has focused exclusively on gaming law since 2010, when it began during articling. The firm advises operators, suppliers, affiliates, social casino and skill-game providers, media companies, sports leagues, and advertisers working in Canada's regulated gaming industry, from Ontario's internet gaming market to daily fantasy sports, esports, and gaming-related cryptocurrency questions.

The team is small and multilingual. Daniel Trujillo brings intellectual property experience from firms across Latin America and works in Spanish, English, and French. Will Sarwer-Foner Androsoff, a University of Toronto political science graduate, handles legal research, regulatory monitoring, and contributes to the firm's blog. Beyond gambling law, GME Law works on media and entertainment matters such as advertising, privacy, and copyright licensing, and offers start-up packages and fractional general counsel services covering company formation and commercial contracts. The firm describes its approach as 'locally specialized, globally focused,' matching a Toronto base with a client list that reaches outside Canada.
