The neighbourhood
FFM Law's main office sits at 1940 Eglinton Avenue East, at the corner of Warden Avenue in Scarborough, in a stretch of the city known as the Golden Mile. The area grew up after the Second World War when the Township of Scarborough, under reeve Oliver Crockford, developed the land as an industrial park patterned on the Golden Mile in London, England, and it became home to dozens of factories through the 1950s and 1960s. Toronto City Council has since adopted a secondary plan for the district, with new development planned around the Eglinton Crosstown light rail line, so a firm that spends a lot of its time on property transactions and business matters is working out of a corridor built on exactly that kind of activity.
A second office on Stevenson Road South in west Oshawa extends the firm's reach into Durham Region, letting it serve clients in Oshawa, Whitby, and nearby communities without a trip into Toronto.
