About VR Law

VR Law is a full-service firm based in Etobicoke, serving Toronto and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area from a single office on Kipling Avenue. Founder Victoria Romero was called to the Ontario bar in 2003 and opened the practice in 2016, building a team that now covers real estate, family law, civil litigation, wills and powers of attorney, notary services, personal injury, and long-term disability claims. Romero is also a mediator, a notary public, and an adjudicator, with mediation work in family and personal injury disputes and adjudication experience on tribunals including the Toronto Licence Tribunal and Ontario's Condominium Authority Tribunal.

The firm describes itself as solution focused, telling clients they can negotiate, go to court, or go to arbitration depending on what a dispute needs. It serves clients in more than one language, including Spanish (the firm's site states "Se habla Espanol"), and offers virtual and mobile appointments alongside in-person meetings at the Etobicoke office. Outside the practice, Romero has been active with the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association (formerly HOLA) since helping found it, serving as its first president in 2005 and again as president in 2025.
