About KS Law

KS Law Professional Corporation is a small Etobicoke firm that combines real estate and family law under one roof. It was founded by Kishore (Kris) Subramanian, who was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007, and the firm says it has been operating in the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years.

On the real estate side, the firm handles residential and commercial purchases, sales, and refinancing, along with private mortgage lending and borrowing and notary and commissioner services. Its family law work covers divorce and separation, custody and parenting arrangements, spousal and child support, and division of property. Because both practices sit under one roof, the firm can manage matters that touch both areas, such as closing the sale of a matrimonial home during a separation, without handing that part of the file to an outside real estate lawyer.

Before founding KS Law, Subramanian worked at Andersen Legal in India, an affiliate of Arthur Andersen & Co, and later practiced personal injury law at Misir & Co. Subramanian studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School and, in addition to the Ontario bar, is also qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and as a legal advocate in India.
