About Dzever Law

Dzever Law is a small immigration, real estate, and wills and estates practice based in Toronto, working from an office on Advance Road in Etobicoke and serving clients across the Greater Toronto Area. The firm was founded by Sandra Dzever, a Barrister, Solicitor, and Notary Public who was called to the bar in Ontario in 2013 after earning a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012 and a Master of Laws from Osgoode in 2016, following an honours business degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 2007.

Before starting the firm, Dzever worked as a caseworker in the immigration division at Parkdale Community Legal Services. That background carries into the firm's immigration practice today, which covers sponsorship applications, refused applications, judicial reviews, and work and study permits alongside inadmissibility issues. The firm also handles residential real estate transactions and wills and powers of attorney, and offers a free initial consultation.

Dzever is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Refugee Lawyers Association. Outside the practice, Dzever has been a guest lecturer at the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law, a mentor and assessor in the Law Practice Program at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), and an instructor at the Canadian Business College.
