Clearview Counsel is a fully remote Ontario law firm serving businesses that range from startups and small businesses to larger, established companies. It was founded by Connor Macdonald, a lawyer and registered trademark agent who previously worked at one of Canada's largest law firms, helping established companies grow their businesses, before setting out to make that kind of counsel more accessible to smaller ones as well.

The firm's work centres on corporate and business law, including incorporations, financings, and commercial contracts, alongside trademark registration and brand protection, copyright, employment law, privacy compliance, and entertainment and licensing agreements for creators and production companies. Because Macdonald holds licences from both the Law Society of Ontario and the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents, the firm can handle Canadian trademark filings and correspondence with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office directly, rather than referring that work elsewhere. Clearview operates without a physical office clients visit, working with founders and business owners by phone and video instead, and its client base ranges from pre-seed startups to established companies across tech, e-commerce, and entertainment.
