Chiarotto Law is a Toronto employment law firm run by principal Lia Chiarotto out of First Canadian Place at 100 King Street West in the city's Financial District. It's a small, focused practice built around workplace law, and it takes an approach that isn't universal among employment firms: it represents both sides of the employment relationship, advising employers on compliance and workplace policy while also acting for employees on dismissal and workplace disputes.

Before opening the firm, Chiarotto spent 18 years practising labour and employment law at two national Bay Street firms. Chiarotto was called to the Ontario bar in 1996 and earned an LL.B. from the University of Toronto, where the McRuer Scholarship and the Michael John Eccles Prize were awarded for standing in administrative law and criminal law respectively. Chiarotto also contributed a chapter on Canadian workers' compensation law to the Ultimate Canadian Corporate Counsel Guide, published by CCH.

The firm's work covers wrongful dismissal and constructive dismissal, workplace human rights and harassment complaints, employment standards claims, executive employment and independent contractor agreements, and third party workplace investigations.
