Aluvion Law is a small corporate and commercial litigation firm with an office at 150 King Street West in Toronto's Financial District. It works with early stage and emerging companies, along with their founders and investors, mostly in the technology, health care, and services industries. The firm groups its work into two areas: corporate matters such as incorporations, financings, restructurings, and share or asset purchases, and litigation matters such as shareholder and partnership disputes, contract claims, and employment litigation. It positions itself as an alternative to traditional Bay Street firms, aiming for responsive, practical advice at a lower cost.
Co-founder Eric Apps brought years of Bay Street and technology sector experience to the practice. Apps was one of six founding partners who opened Wildeboer Dellelce LLP, originally called Wildeboer Apps, on February 1, 1993, and later served as president of Angoss Software, a publicly listed Canadian technology company, before returning to a corporate and securities practice built around entrepreneurs and early stage companies. The rest of the team includes Meaghan Richardson, whose litigation practice covers shareholder and employment disputes, and Aulona Arbana, who works on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity matters.

By appointmentAluvion Law's office is in the Sun Life Centre at 150 King Street West, a stainless steel and glass office tower completed in 1984 at the corner of King Street West and University Avenue, in the middle of Toronto's Financial District. The complex served as Sun Life Financial's global headquarters until 2017 and connects directly into the PATH system and St. Andrew subway station. For a firm built around startups, founders, and investors, an address inside one of downtown Toronto's landmark financial towers puts it a short walk from the banks, dealers, and institutional lenders its corporate clients often deal with.
