Edwards Bell Jewitt LLP, known as EBJ Law, is a law firm based in Thunder Bay that focuses on First Nation governments, Indigenous organizations and businesses, not for profit entities, and individuals across Northern Ontario. The firm says its purpose is to advance the interests of these clients across the Treaty 9, Treaty 5, Treaty 3, and Robinson Superior treaty areas, and its practice centers on the recognition, protection, and exercise of Indigenous rights and governance alongside general litigation and corporate and commercial law.

The team spans decades of experience. Some lawyers, including Bob Edwards, have practiced in Northwestern Ontario since the late 1970s, while others, like Lucas Jewitt, joined more recently after years working directly with First Nations, community development corporations, and tribal councils. Partner Shawn Bell worked as a journalist in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, and edited Wawatay News in Treaty 9 territory before becoming a lawyer. Beyond its Indigenous law practice, EBJ Law handles corporate and commercial matters, civil litigation, employment law, wills and estates, and workplace harassment investigations for organizations under both provincial and federal jurisdiction.
