Paquette & Associates Lawyers is a law firm in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on the traditional territory of the Robinson-Superior Ojibway. Lawyer Rachael Paquette founded the firm, which serves clients across Northwestern Ontario. Paquette earned a B.A. in political science at Lakehead University and a Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba, along with an Osgoode Certificate in Mining Law, and has appeared before the Federal Court, the Ontario and Canadian Human Rights Tribunals, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Paquette is bilingual in Northern Ojibwe and English. The rest of the legal team includes associate lawyer Lukas Kampela, a graduate of Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, and Emmaleigh Dew, a J.D. candidate at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law who holds an Honours B.A. in Canadian Studies from Trent University; Dew also holds an Osgoode Certificate in Mining Law. The team is rounded out by a law clerk, a legal assistant, and law students.
