About Spiller Law

Spiller Law is a small firm based in Barrie, working from an office on Mary Street. It's served clients across Simcoe County and the Greater Toronto Area since 1985, more than 40 years of practice by its own account. The firm also keeps a second location in Etobicoke, on The West Mall, for clients who find the Toronto side of the region easier to reach.

The practice covers civil litigation, family and matrimonial law, wills and estates, criminal law, and commercial law, along with real estate and personal injury matters. Civil litigation work runs in both directions: the firm represents plaintiffs and defendants in contract and debt disputes. Family law covers custody, child and spousal support, division of property, and restraining orders. The firm's website lists reported decisions going back to a 1999 Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal ruling, including a case that reached the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Marcoccia v. Marcoccia, in 2009.

The roster includes a barrister and solicitor with a B.A., B.C.L., and LL.B, and a licensed paralegal, both practising under the Spiller name.
