Chown Smith & Scott Professional Corporation is a general practice law firm in Renfrew, Ontario, that has served the town and the wider Ottawa Valley for more than 125 years. The firm traces back to 1894, when S. T. Chown opened a law office in Renfrew. S. T. Chown's son Murray Chown joined the practice in 1926, and Murray's son Bill Chown followed in 1961, carrying the family's name through three generations before Bill's retirement. Brian Smith joined the firm in 1976, and the firm later took the Smith name too. Cameron Scott joined at the start of 2020 and worked alongside Smith until Smith's retirement in 2023, when the firm took its current name.

In 2021 the firm acquired the practice of Duncan Crosby Professional Corporation; Crosby retired in 2022 after a period working alongside Scott. Chown Smith & Scott now focuses on real estate transactions, wills, powers of attorney and estate administration, family law matters such as separation agreements and cohabitation contracts, business incorporations and sales, and notary and commissioning services, for individual and corporate clients from its office on Renfrew Avenue West.
