About Cedar Swartz-Fisher

Cedar Swartz-Fisher Law is a solo family law practice serving Eastern Ontario, with an office in Perth and virtual consultations available for clients in the Pembroke area. Founder Cedar Swartz-Fisher earned a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, and an undergraduate degree in sociology, with a focus on law and social policy, from Bishop's University. Swartz-Fisher is licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and works alongside a family law clerk to manage the practice's day to day caseload.

The firm concentrates on family law, handling separation agreements, divorce, parenting and cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and litigation, along with independent legal advice and limited scope retainers for clients who want to handle part of their case on their own. It's approved by Legal Aid Ontario to provide domestic violence advice and offers services in English and French. Swartz-Fisher is a member of the Renfrew County Law Association, where the founder has served as past chair of the social committee, and also belongs to the County of Lanark Law Association.
