In 1974 the firm moved to a renovated building at 8 Bridge Street, its address today, and for a brief period operated under the name Cole & Florence. Cole was elected a Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1995 and continued to practice in Lakefield until passing away in the spring of 2014.
Adam R.H. Baker, who holds a B.A. from Trent University and an LL.B. from Queen's University's Faculty of Law, articled under Cole starting in 2003, was called to the Ontario bar in 2004, and became a partner on January 1, 2005. Baker now carries the practice forward, handling real estate transactions, wills and powers of attorney, and notary public work, supported by staff who together bring over 40 years of experience working with lawyers on real estate, wills, estates, and corporate matters.
