About Cubias Law

Cubias Law is the practice of Graciela D. Cubias, a sole practitioner working as a barrister, solicitor and notary in Ontario. Cubias graduated with honours from York University in Toronto and earned a post-graduate certificate in Legal and Corporate Administration from Seneca College. Cubias then worked at two Toronto law firms before completing a law degree at the University of London in England. After returning to Ontario, Cubias completed the accreditation required to become a full member of the Law Society of Ontario and opened the firm in 2013. The practice handles real estate, wills and estates, corporate and commercial law, and civil litigation.

The firm keeps a physical office at 135 Burleigh Street in Apsley, in North Kawartha, along with a second office in Ajax and a mailing address in Bancroft. Cubias has a personal connection to both areas, having resided and worked in the Durham region for many years while also serving Apsley area clients over an extended period. Cubias belongs to the Durham Region Law Association, the Peterborough Law Association and the Hastings Law Association. The firm offers both virtual and in-person consultations for clients across the two regions.
