About Pelican Law

Pelican Law is a Mississauga law firm run by founder Narinder Mann, who's licensed by the Law Society of Ontario as a barrister, solicitor, and notary public. Mann was called to the Ontario Bar in March 2024, after being licensed as a paralegal in January 2021 and completing a Paralegal Diploma at Humber College in Toronto. Before immigrating to Canada, Mann practiced civil law in India, a background that feeds the firm's focus on immigration files for clients navigating a legal system in a new country.

The firm's core practice is immigration law, covering temporary resident visas, permanent residence through Express Entry and provincial nominee programs, citizenship applications, family sponsorship, and refugee claims and appeals, including judicial review before the Federal Court of Canada. Pelican Law also takes on family law work such as separation agreements, prenuptial agreements, and contested and uncontested divorce, plus residential and commercial real estate transactions and notary and apostille services for documents headed abroad. The office runs in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, so clients who aren't comfortable in English don't need an interpreter, and it offers a free initial consultation before a file gets started.
