Founder James Harbic was called to the Bar of Ontario on April 19, 1978, and the Law Society of Ontario has since certified the founder as a Specialist in Criminal Litigation. James Harbic holds degrees from the Universities of Ottawa, Saskatchewan and Dalhousie, and taught criminal law, procedure and evidence at Algonquin College, Carleton University and the University of Ottawa from 1980 to 2006.
A second lawyer, Robert Harbic, joined the practice in 2012 after earning degrees from the University of Ottawa and a law degree from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. The firm's two lawyers defend clients against Criminal Code offences, motor vehicle offences such as impaired driving, and federal and provincial regulatory charges, appearing in courts across Eastern Ontario and, on occasion, in Quebec and Nunavut.
