About James
James Harbic has led Harbic Law since 1978, successfully defending over 11,000 people accused of both minor and serious criminal charges, including multiple acquittals in homicide cases. He holds a B.A. and a J.D. and is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Criminal Litigation. Over his career he has handled landmark cases including some of the first Charter challenges heard in Ontario, and he is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and Amnesty International. Harbic Law works with private investigators and forensic experts, including chemists, pathologists, psychiatrists, and document examiners, to review evidence in its clients' cases.
