Emily Comor, M.A., LLB is a sole family law practice based in Ottawa's west end, on Carling Avenue near Carlingwood Mall. Emily Comor has served the Ottawa area as a family lawyer for over 25 years, after earning an LLB from the University of Ottawa Law School and completing the Ontario Bar Admission Course in 1993.

Before law, Emily Comor completed a B.A. and M.A. in Social/Cultural Anthropology at the University of Toronto, along with doctoral coursework in the same field. The practice combines family law with mediation and collaborative practice, following training that includes Ontario Association for Family Mediation accreditation, ADR Institute of Ontario ethics training, and interdisciplinary collaborative practice skills training. Emily Comor has also served as a panel member with the Office of the Children's Lawyer, a role centered on representing a child's own perspective in family law matters that affect them. The practice generally favors negotiated and mediated resolutions to separation and divorce, covering parenting arrangements, support, and property division, while still directing each party to independent legal advice before any agreement is signed.
