About Emily

Emily Comor is a sole practitioner family law lawyer who has served the Ottawa area for over 25 years. She is a panel member with the Office of the Children's Lawyer and focuses on resolving family law matters in a creative, cost-effective way. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa Law School and holds a B.A. and M.A. in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto, along with mediation training including a Family Mediation Accreditation from the Ontario Association for Family Mediation and a certificate in Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice Skills. She serves on the boards of Collaborative Divorce Ottawa and Operation Come Home, and is active with the Separation Planning Hub of Eastern Ontario, the County of Carleton Law Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the Ottawa High Conflict Forum.
