ChoiTechAndLaw Professional Corporation is an intellectual property and technology law firm and registered trademark agency in Ottawa. Amelia Choi founded the firm after a career in the technology sector, holding senior corporate leadership and management positions at global high tech and information technology companies and managing multi million dollar programs spanning telecommunications products, IT infrastructure, data warehousing and business software. Choi was called to the Ontario bar in 2009 and later became a registered trademark agent and a notary public of Ontario, and holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa, a master's degree in computer science from Simon Fraser University, and a bachelor's degree in computer science from De La Salle University.

The firm advises technology companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs on IP portfolio management and strategy, trademark prosecution and opposition, patent and industrial design applications, copyright, and licensing and technology transfer agreements. It also handles IP enforcement work, including anti-counterfeiting matters and online brand protection, along with CASL compliance and domain name issues. Choi has represented Canada on an International Trademark Association task force on small and medium sized enterprises and has held committee leadership roles at the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.
