About Nicola Circelli Law

Nicola Circelli Law is a solo criminal defence practice with an office on Talbot Street in London, Ontario, serving clients across the city and Southwestern Ontario. Founder Nicola Circelli holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from McGill University (2009), a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester (2012), and a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law from the National University of Ireland, Galway (2013). Circelli articled with Circelli Law, a London firm, joined it as an associate after being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016, and launched an independent practice in 2019.

The firm concentrates on criminal defence, handling impaired driving, assault, drug and weapons charges, theft and fraud, and bail hearings. It also represents clients in matters under Ontario's mental health legislation, including Ontario Review Board hearings for people found not criminally responsible or unfit to stand trial, and Consent and Capacity Board hearings over involuntary admission and treatment capacity. Outside criminal law, Nicola Circelli Law prepares wills and powers of attorney and handles estate administration. Circelli is Past President of the Middlesex Law Association and Vice President of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, and was profiled in London Inc. Magazine in 2026.
