About Hardy & Associates Law LLP

Hardy & Associates Law LLP is a small, three lawyer criminal defence firm based in downtown London, Ontario, with an office on Talbot Street. The firm works exclusively on criminal law, appearing in court for clients in London and travelling to Strathroy, Woodstock, St. Thomas, Sarnia, Goderich, and other jurisdictions across Ontario. Jack Hardy, Damon Hardy, and Victoria Zavitz bring more than 60 years of combined experience to the practice, and the firm keeps its team small so a lawyer is available on short notice and the three can consult on files.

Jack Hardy founded the firm after completing the coursework and exams for a Ph.D. and then deciding to pursue law instead. Jack went on to spend 10 years at Western Law supervising students in its practical program, later taught there as an adjunct professor and also taught at Fanshawe College, and is a former president of the London Criminal Lawyers' Association. Damon Hardy grew up in London, earned an LLB at the University of Western Ontario, and was called to the bar in 2002. Victoria Zavitz completed a Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia with first class distinction, holds an honours degree from Western University, and worked with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service in Brisbane before returning to practice criminal defence in London.
