About Wallis Law

Wallis Law is a solo civil litigation and employment law practice in Belleville, Ontario, opened by Christina Wallis in 2019 after leaving a partnership at Dale & Lessmann LLP in downtown Toronto. Wallis attended high school in Belleville and raised three children there before opening an independent practice in the city. The firm handles employment law for both employers and employees, along with civil litigation, human rights matters, and construction lien law, and on the employer side works with HR professionals at companies across Ontario.

Before starting the firm, Wallis spent about 15 years as a partner at Dale & Lessmann, working with employer clients on contracts, workplace policies, and compliance, and also handling commercial litigation, debtor remedies, and mortgage enforcement for banks, lenders, landlords, and property management companies. Wallis is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, was called to the Ontario bar in 2005, and holds a Construction Law Certificate. Since July 2025, Wallis has also served as counsel to Linmac LLP, a business law firm with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary.
