Templeman LLP is a mid-size regional law firm with three offices in central and eastern Ontario: Belleville, Napanee, and Kingston. Its roster runs to close to 30 lawyers, split between partners, associates, and counsel, covering administrative and civil litigation, commercial litigation, construction, corporate and commercial law, criminal defence, family law, insurance defence, labour and employment, mediation and arbitration, municipal and planning law, real estate, and wills and estates. Clients include individuals, Ontario municipalities, and insurance and corporate clients from across the region.

The firm's lawyers come from a mix of backgrounds. Some started as articling students and stayed on, others joined after working at larger Toronto firms, and a few moved into law after careers in industry management or other professions; one current partner also holds a nursing degree alongside a law degree. Templeman also runs a structured articling and summer student program that puts students to work drafting pleadings, agreements of purchase and sale, and factums, and second-chairing files, rather than routine research, and the firm looks to hire from its own student ranks where it can.
