About Poulson Law

Poulson Law is a Greater Sudbury law firm that handles real estate, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial matters, with a branch office in Espanola. Barry J. Poulson, LL.B., founded the firm after being called to the Ontario Bar in 1978, and the firm describes over 50 years of combined legal experience among its real estate lawyers. Associate Marco Muscolino, who holds a B.A. and a Juris Doctor, joined more recently and brings more than 15 years of earlier professional experience in residential and commercial development, construction project management, small business, and not-for-profit organizations.

Poulson Law recently merged with Santoro Law, bringing associate Joseph Santoro onto the team along with two new office locations. Santoro was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002, grew up in Sarnia, and earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from St. Jerome's College at the University of Waterloo before completing a law degree at the University of Western Ontario. Santoro built a practice around Sarnia and, in 2020, opened an office in Gore Bay on the north shore of Manitoulin Island to serve clients there. Through the merger, Poulson Law now reaches clients from Sudbury and Espanola west to Manitoulin Island and south to Sarnia, while keeping its focus on real estate, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial law.
