About Falldien Law Office

Falldien Law Office is a sole-practitioner firm in Sudbury, Ontario. Trent Falldien opened it on October 1, 2013, and it has grown into a practice that handles estates, corporate and business law, real estate, and family law for clients across Northern Ontario, not just Greater Sudbury. The office, on Elm Street in Sudbury, also runs a contingency-based debt collection program for small business owners and offers limited scope representation for clients who'd rather handle parts of their own case and pay a lawyer only for the pieces that need one.

Falldien grew up in Northern Ontario and earned a business degree from Laurentian University in 2005, finishing a year ahead of schedule and at the top of the class. Four years in the private sector followed, in inventory management, area management, accounting, and project controls roles with companies including WIS International, PSL Systems, and Bantrel, before law school at the University of Alberta starting in 2009. After graduating in 2012 and finishing first year on the Dean's list, Falldien returned to Northern Ontario to article at Miller Maki LLP, then opened Falldien Law Office in Sudbury. The litigation side of the practice has appeared at several court levels in both Ontario and Alberta.
