Criminal DefenceZoe Arghandewal is a partner at Zargarian Litigation, where her practice covers employment, human rights, and criminal defence. Before joining the firm, she practiced employment law at her own firm, Arghandewal Law. She advises both workers and employers on wrongful dismissal, severance negotiations, discrimination and harassment claims under the BC Human Rights Code, workplace investigations, and employment contract reviews, and represents clients in select provincial and Supreme Court criminal matters, including assault, theft, fraud, and impaired driving. She has appeared before the BC Human Rights Tribunal, including a case in which the tribunal found in favour of a client alleging her termination was linked to a physical disability. Arghandewal earned her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2016 and her bachelor's degree from the University of Guelph. During law school she took part in the UBC Innocence Project and the UBC Criminal Law Clinic, and she has practiced law in British Columbia since 2017.
