About William
William 'Bill' R. Storey founded Kitsilano Family Law in 1984 and practised family law in British Columbia for more than 40 years, from 1982 until his retirement in 2024. He was called to the BC bar in 1980 and became known for his expertise in international child custody and cross-border parental child abduction matters. He held fellowship status with the International Academy of Family Lawyers and worked as a trained mediator and parenting coordinator. Storey was a strong believer in taking on legal aid cases and pro bono work, including through free legal clinics with Access Pro Bono.
