About Wally

Wally Ye is a Montreal-based lawyer who graduated with distinction from Carleton University, receiving the Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement, before completing a bilingual JD/BCL at McGill University's Faculty of Law. Ye holds law licences in Ontario and Quebec as well as a PRC Bar qualification in China, and completed a professional certificate in Canadian immigration law at UBC. Before joining Lazarus Legal, Ye articled at a Canadian law firm and worked at a major Chinese firm on corporate and civil matters. Ye's practice covers commercial and corporate law, civil and commercial litigation, and Canadian and Quebec immigration law, and Ye assists Canadian clients with cross-border matters involving China, including litigation, arbitration and M&A transactions.
