About Tyler
Tyler grew up in Muskoka and studied sociology and criminology at the University of Western Ontario, graduating with honours in 2009, then earned his Juris Doctor from Western in 2012. He articled with Robert J. Nagel of Whitford & Nagel Associates and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2013, continuing on with Nagel as a licensed solicitor. He joined this firm in 2017, taking over its real estate and corporate law files, and became the firm's owner in September 2025, renaming it Tyler J. Wagg Professional Corporation. He now runs a general solicitor's practice covering real estate law, corporate law, and wills and estates, and has served as a co-operating lawyer for UNIFOR (formerly CAW) since 2013, assisting GM and CAW employees with their legal needs. He now lives in the City of Kawartha Lakes with his family.
