About Tim
Tim Sax was born and raised in Edmonton and graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta in 1988. He is a senior litigator with more than 30 years of combined experience in family law and personal injury, and has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. He views the courtroom as a last resort, preferring resolution through conversation and principled, interest-based negotiation, and brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to his clients. Outside the office, Tim has volunteered on community boards, including the Lessard Community League Pre-school and the Brain Care Centre, and has coached youth soccer, baseball, and hockey.
