About Theresa
Theresa Wooyeon Choi is a partner at Vista Law LLP and heads its Real Estate Department. She is licensed as both an Ontario lawyer and a notary public, and has closed more than 2,000 real estate and business transactions, including the sale of an $11.8 million commercial building and the acquisition of a $9.38 million medical office building. Theresa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University. Before joining Vista Law, she ran her own practice, Wooyeon Choi Law, from 2016 to 2023, and served as counsel to the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council of Korea from 2020 to 2023. She has also served on the board of the Korean Canadian Symphony Orchestra and volunteers at pro bono real estate law seminars and human rights initiatives.
