About Tanya

Tanya Murray focuses her practice on wills, estates, trusts, probate, and estate administration, taking a personalized approach to estate and incapacity planning for clients ranging from simple wills to complex affairs. She coordinates with clients' tax advisors, investment advisors, accountants, and trust companies to ensure their plans work together. Tanya received her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1996 and was called to the bar in 1997. She practised corporate finance and commercial law at two Vancouver firms for twelve years before transitioning her practice to wills, estates, and trusts on the North Shore in 2009. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Vancouver Branch, and of the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia branch, in its Wills and Trusts Section and Elder Law Section. She has served as a board member of the North Shore Community Foundation and the Hollyburn Family Services Society.
