About Tanya

Tanya Da Costa was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2018 and holds a civil law degree from the University of Ottawa. She became an associate (partner) of RPGL in January 2024. Her practice focuses on real estate and construction law and civil and commercial litigation, assisting entrepreneurs, professionals and individuals, with a preference for alternative dispute resolution where possible. She previously worked as a law student at the Supreme Court of Canada, and now serves as a supervising lawyer at the École du Barreau, a trainer for the Association de la construction du Québec since 2020, and a lecturer at the University of Ottawa since 2025.
