François Simard was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2008 and holds a law degree, earned magna cum laude, from the University of Ottawa. Before practising law he served as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and worked as a telecommunications engineer, and he holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor's in engineering physics from the Royal Military College of Canada. He has practised municipal and civil law at RPGL since 2016, including civil liability, real estate, succession and contract matters, and appears regularly before judicial and administrative tribunals.
