T. Edmund Chan is a Toronto-area criminal defence lawyer who focuses on impaired driving and other criminal driving offences. Chan has been practising as an Ontario lawyer for nearly 30 years, having taken the barrister's oath in February 1996, and has handled thousands of impaired/over 80 cases. Chan is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, where he earned an LL.B. in 1994. Chan also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, along with a B.A. and an M.A. in criminal justice from the State University of New York and the University of Washington. Chan's cases are concentrated in the Durham, Toronto and York regions, particularly Newmarket, Brampton, Toronto and Oshawa. Chan is fluent in English and Cantonese.
